No alteration of any kind shall be made in anything contained in these Constitutions, nor shall any addition be made thereto, without the same having been first passed by a three-fourths vote of the Companions present in the regular annual Chapter, and afterwards printed and transmitted to every member of the Congregation at least three months before the meeting of the next regular Chapter. At which latter Chapter, the proposed alteration or addition shall be finally passed or rejected in the form in which it was passed at the previous Chapter, by a three-fourths vote of all the members of the Congregation, voting either in Chapter or by mail. Any minor changes to the Rule or Constitutions may be adopted at a single Chapter, with the unanimous consent of those present.
