1. There shall be a General Chapter of the Congregation each year, at such time and place as the Master may appoint.
2. A Special Chapter of the Congregation may be held at the discretion of the Master on a call of one-third of all the members.
3. The Master, through the Secretary, shall give three weeks' notice to all members of the time and place of the meeting of a Chapter. All the members of the Congregation shall be bound to attend the General Chapter, unless dispensed by the Master for serious cause.
4. None but members of the Congregation shall be permitted to be present at a General Chapter.
5. A quorum shall consist of one-third of all the members of the Congregation, of which at least two shall be officers.
6. Every Chapter shall begin with a celebration of the Mass, which, unless the Calendar prevents it, shall be a Votive Mass of the Holy Spirit; and it shall always be a concelebrated Mass, with the Master as principal celebrant. In the case of illness of the Master or some other serious reason for his absence, he shall appoint one of the other priests as principal celebrant of the Chapter Mass. At this Mass, each member shall make an offering for the Congregation, according to his ability.
7. The reception of new members, and the renewal of promises, shall be conducted during the Chapter Mass, as provided in the Order for the same. For the remainder of the exercises of the Chapter, all the members shall be vested in habit, and the order of business shall be according to that appointed in the Order for a General Chapter, q.v. The habit shall be worn at the exercises of the annual Retreat which is held at the time of the General Chapter.
