Lord Jesus Christ, the great High Priest, you gave yourself for us an offering and sacrifice to God, and you have called us to be partakers in that same priesthood; accept, we beseech you, our entire liberty, our memory, our understanding and all that we are and have; and grant that we, being made conformable to your death, may also be partakers in the glory of your resurrection; for you live and reign with the Father, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, throughout all ages. 0 God, who by the resurrection of your Son Jesus Christ gave gladness to the world; grant, we pray, that we, aided by the prayers of the Virgin Mary his Mother, may attain to the joys of everlasting life; through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.
The Memorials may be used at the Noonday Office at monthly Conferences and with that Office or separately in individual recitation. Whether in Conference or not, noonday is the traditional hour for intercessions. The antiphon, versicle, and response are used only at the beginning of the body of Memorials. In communal use the Officiant announces the memorials by title and the Companions recite them in unison.
Ant. You did not choose me, but I chose you, and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should abide.
V. if you ask anything of the Father,
he will give it to you in my name.
R. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.
Then are recited the Memorials appointed for the day. After the recitation of the appropriate memorials, the service concludes as below.

Daily Prayer for the Companions
Blessed Saviour, you have called us to a life of fellowship and service as
Companions; kindle in our brother(s) NN. the desire for spiritual perfection;
replenish them with the truth of your doctrine, endue them with holiness of
life, and uphold them in their work for the extension of your kingdom; that
pressing toward the prize of their high calling, they may in fervent love
attain the saving vision of your eternal truth, for you live and reign for
ever. Amen.
Associates' Daily Prayer For The
Companions
Eternal and loving God, direct with Your Holy Spirit the Companions of the
Holy Saviour, that they may grow continually in love to You, to one another,
and to all people, and in reverence for Your whole creation. Keep them faithful
and obedient, and supply all their needs. Let their joy be in You, that the
Companions may fulfill Your will and be a sign of the presence and power of
Your Son, Jesus Christ, who with You and the Holy Spirit lives and reigns,
one God,Throughout all ages. Amen.
Sundays
1. Of our Patron, St. Augustine of Canterbury
0 Lord our God, by your Son Jesus Christ you called your apostles and sent
them forth to preach the Gospel to the nations: we bless your holy Name for
your servant Augustine, whose patronage we claim; and we pray that we and
all whom you call and send may do your will, and bide your time, and see your
glory; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the
Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
2. For the Perseverance of All
the Companions
0 Lord, you have chosen us to be of the number of your companions, and have
poured into our hearts the desire to follow you wherever you may lead us:
grant us your grace and such fervent love towards you that we all may be faithful
to the calling you have given us, persevering in your service in this life,
and finally, having passed through the grave and gate of death where you have
gone before, may share in your resurrection and be with you for ever in your
kingdom, where you live and reign for ever and ever. Amen.
Mondays
3. For the Increase of the Companions
Lord Jesus Christ, you call your ordained servants to follow the example of
your perfect life; we pray you to open our ears to your voice, and our eyes
to the vision of your priestly perfection; and grant to our Congregation a
constant increase of numbers, for the setting forth of the beauty of your
life, and for advancement of the glory of your kingdom; for you live and reign,
now and forever. Amen.
4. For the Companions, Associates
and Benefactors Departed This Life
Lord Jesus Christ, you have promised to those who are faithful to you in this
life, that hereafter you will receive them into an eternal habitation; fulfill
your promise, we beseech you, to the souls of our faithful departed (especially
N.); that where you are, they may also be, and may behold the glory you share
with your Father through all eternity. Amen.
Tuesdays
5. For the Gift of Chastity
0 Lord, you manifested your love for us by creating us, by redeeming us, and
by sanctifying us; and you have called us to follow you in chaste lives; enkindle
in our hearts such love for you, that we may faithfully live for you alone;
and grant us the gift of true chastity in body and soul, that with your love
we may need or desire nothing more; for you live and reign for ever and ever.
Amen.
6. For the Spirit of Obedience
0 God, by your grace you have called us to salvation through the cross of
your Son Jesus Christ, and to be faithful stewards of his mysteries: give
us grace to obey his voice when he calls us to follow him; and grant that
our wills and actions may be perfectly brought under his obedience, that we
may always be ready to fulfill your holy will in all things, enduring the
cross and despising the shame for the joy that is set before us; through Jesus
Christ our Lord. Amen.
7. For the Gift of Conversion
0 God, by your prophets and in your Son you have called countless souls in
every generation to seek the way of holiness: gently show us day by day the
path we are to follow in the footsteps of your Son, that our lives may ever
be more and more closely conformed to his life, and that by holy living we
may be faithful witnesses of your glory and love; through Jesus Christ our
Lord. Amen.
Wednesdays
8. For the Spirit of Self-denial
0 Lord, you became poor that we might be enriched with the gifts of your grace,
and laid down your life that we might live: pour upon us the spirit of self-denial,
that we may embrace the path of your all-giving love; help us to set aside
the things of this world and to live joyfully, humbly and simply; and grant
that counting the riches of this world but loss, and forsaking all thought
of our own glory, we may steadfastly live for your glory alone; for you live
and reign for ever and ever. Amen.
9. For Religious Orders
0 Lord, you became poor for our sake, that we might be made rich through your
poverty; guide and sanctify, we pray, those whom you call to follow you under
the vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience (especially ___) that by their
prayer and service they may enrich your Church, and by their life and worship

Thursdays

11. For our Episcopal Visitor,
and for the Bishops in Whose Dioceses the Companions Serve
0 God, the Pastor and Ruler of your faithful people: look down in mercy on
your servants N., our Episcopal Visitor, N., the Bishop of this Diocese, and
all other bishops under whom we serve; evermore guide, defend, strengthen,
sanctify, and save them, and grant them your grace to teach and defend the
apostolic faith, that they, with the flocks committed to them, may attain
to everlasting life; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Fridays
12. For the Ministries of the Companions and Associates
Almighty and everlasting God, ruler of all things in heaven and earth, hear
our prayers for all those whom our members are sent to serve; strengthen the
faithful, arouse the careless, and restore the penitent. Grant them all things
necessary for their common life, bring them all to be of one heart and mind
within our holy Church; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
13. For Faithful Pastors
0 God, we entreat you ever to provide faithful pastors in your holy Church,
who gladly counting all things but loss for Christ, may steadfastly seek your
glory and not their own advantage, and both by word and good example may serve
before you to the glory of your Name and the edification of your Church; through
Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
Saturdays
14. For Probationers
Look with favor, Almighty God, upon your servant(s) N. (W), who, in response
to the prompting of the Holy Spirit, desire(s) to commit himself to you as
a Companion of the Holy Saviour. Grant them the strength of your grace to persevere
in this endeavor, and the guidance of your Holy Spirit to find their true
vocation. If it be your will that they continue in this way, reveal this to
them, we pray, and bring them in due time to the taking of solemn vows; through
Jesus Christ your Son our Saviour. Amen.
15. For the Associates
Almighty God, Ruler and Sustainer of the whole earth, grant that NN.
our Associates, may grow daily in the spirit of prayer and love. May they
be renewed in the power of your Holy Spirit, and enabled to serve you generously
in what ever you give them to do; through Jesus Christ our Saviour. Amen.
16. For Companions and Associates
in Loneliness
Lord Jesus Christ, in your agony you felt the desolation of loneliness; grant
to those companions and associates who are removed from visible fellowship
with each other (especially...), that they may be comforted by the invisible
fellowship of your saints and angels, and thereby sustained in their pilgrimage;
for you live and reign for ever and ever. Amen.
17. Of the Most Blessed Sacrament
Let your sacred Body, 0 Lord Jesus Christ, which I, though unworthy,
receive (and minister to others) preserve me to eternal life; let this gift
of grace be my chief source of joy, health, and gladness; and in your
second coming count me, (a) redeemed sinner(s) worthy to share the
glory of your faithful servants. Amen.
Other Memorials
18. For a Birthday
0 God our Father, bless your servant N. as his years increase; in his seeking,
guide him; in his striving, sustain him; in danger and temptation, guard him:
give him a thankful heart; and grant that he may find his freedom in doing
your will; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
19. On an Anniversary of Ordination
or Life Profession
Almighty God, we give thanks this day for your servant N. whom you have called
to the holy order of (deacon/priest) in your One Holy Catholic and Apostolic

a holy life, and the strength to persevere, that he may boldly bear witness

in Sickness
Lord Jesus Christ, Good Shepherd of the sheep, you gather the lambs in your
arms and carry them in your bosom: we commend to your loving care N. Relieve
his pain, guard him from all danger, restore to him your gifts of gladness
and strength, and raise him up to a life of service to you. Hear us, we pray,
for your dear Name's sake. Amen.
21. During the General Chapter
and Retreat
This Memorial is recited daily at the Noonday Office before and during
Chapter, after the other Memorials appointed for the day.
Lord Jesus Christ, you said to your disciples, "Come apart to a desert place and rest awhile"; grant to your servants (now gathered together) so to seek you whom our souls desire to love, that we may both find you and be found in you; and let such love and wisdom accompany the words which shall be spoken in your Name, that they may not return to you empty, but may accomplish that which you purpose and prosper in that for which you sent them, and may help us onward through our earthly pilgrimage to that heavenly rest which you have promised to those who love you; through Jesus Christ our Lord. The Officiant recites this or some other collect.
Direct us, 0 Lord, in all our doings with your most gracious favor, and further us with your continual help; that in all our works begun, continued and ended in you, we may glorify your holy Name, and finally, by your mercy, obtain everlasting life; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Then follows the recitation of the rule. Here follows a brief silence, following which the Father Master, Warden, or Companion designated inquires if there be any who wish to share their questions and problems pertaining to the observance of the Rule. All Companions are encouraged to offer their counsel or share their experiences for the edification of the brethren. Then follows the LITANY and ACT OF OBLATION:
God the Father, Creator of heaven
